Absolutely a wonderful dental studio!! I was skeptical at the idea of coming to Mexico to have the dental work. After much research I decided yes. This facility answered all my questions … over and over. Gabriel was VERY patient with me. Many emails back and forth and here I am – my second trip for the permanent implant teeth. The whole procedure was done with care and very little pain. The first two weeks were the hardest of course but then I was all smiles and proud of my smile again. My first experience with this clinic was in 2018. Dr Diego and Dr Nestor and the entire staff welcomed me like family. The total experience was truly amazing and inspiring. Since than I have returned 3 times. The latest was October 2025. Although there has been a number of new staff and expansion to there facilities, which makes your experience totally simple. My latest procedure was 6 implants, which obviously requires surgery. I was lightly sedated to the be point where I can still respond to there commands. I believe comfort and support is a top priority to there support team. They have reached out on several occasions to ensure that my health and recovery was most important. I recently had extensive work done at this facility — an All-on-5 on my top arch and an All-on-4 on my bottom arch — and I couldn’t be happier with the results.

From start to finish, the entire team made the process smooth and stress-free. Dr. Camacho was absolutely amazing to work with: he explained every step clearly, answered all of my questions with patience, and his skill and attention to detail really put me at ease throughout such a major procedure.

I accompanied my wife with all of her visits. The doctors and all the staff were really helpful. They informed me about all of the procedures and issues that could possibly happen. Also they kept me informed and updated as everything was taking place. They addressed all concerns, and answered all of my questions. Most of them were just small talk, because I spent quite a bit of time in their front office. It was actually a very fun experience with all the staff. I had told everyone I was a dental support person. My wife’s procedure went just as planned, very smooth. She has healed well and is very pleased with her new chompers. These folks did the impossible with my wife’s teeth. We couldn’t find anyone in the US to make implants work for her!

We searched everywhere but the work was too difficult and for those that might attempt it, (with no guarantee) unbelievably expensive.

We weren’t certain about these guys at first as her situation was unique and it would be very, very difficult to achieve what she was needing and wanting.

After multiple surgeries, bone grafting, etc., and Zygomatic implants they were able to establish a foundation that would work well for her and at long last they were completely done!

They were able to create her permanent implant prosthesis in-house and adjusted the coloring to perfection!

They had to fly in specialized surgeons for certain procedures but it was truly remarkable what they were able to achieve in the end!

It literally took years due to COVID and we could not always come when we needed to but after 5 years she finally has the perfect smile that she’s always wanted.

We have been going to this Dental Studio in Algodones, Mexico for over 5 years now and look forward to our visits each and every time! You wouldn’t think that would be so as no one enjoys having their mouth worked on, but we have such a good time there with everyone when we go that we don’t really mind the two day driving journey from Southeast Texas to get there.

I’ve been hesitant to finally commit to getting extensive work done.. Needing both top and bottom full arches in my mouth. I started researching Dr. Nestor’s team online…and after never getting positive results from my oral surgeons in California I finally decided to get my work done with them. After months of research, I decided to go with this SOTA Dental clinic. I had implants placed by Dr. Juan and I will be returning in a few months to get the crowns. I traveled alone and the entire staff was professional and made me feel safe. The office is very clean and modern.

Cannot say enough great things about this clinic, or the amazing people that work there!! From the very friendly and helpful front desk staff, to the amazing doctors, you cannot get better care anywhere!! I was fortunate enough to work with Dr. Nester, Dr. Victor and Dr. Kevin. They truly gave me my smile back! The office is very clean and comfortable, it’s super convenient to get to, right on the main strip as you cross the border. The prices are very comparable to other dentists in the area, and about $30,000 less than I’d have to pay in the US. They also worked within my budget to get me what I wanted vs. what I thought my budget could get me. You won’t regret choosing them as your dental office.

If you are thinking of having dental implant surgery in Los Algodones, Mexico, because you have heard that you can get cheap implants there, you are going to be severely surprised. Nothing is cheap or shoddy about the implants, the surgery, or the quality of service you will receive; all are of the highest quality.

I started my search for a dental provider for implants after having my upper teeth extracted over a year ago. I had lived in Phoenix, Arizona, before moving to Austin, Texas, and had general dental services in Los Algodones, so using Mexican dentists was not a concern. After searching the internet, I came across the website and YouTube videos of Dr Nestor in Los Algodones and began a dialogue with Gabriel, their ambassador. Gabriel was very patient and forthcoming in his communications, putting me at ease. Jumping ahead a bit, there were no surprises; the procedures’ scheduling and the services’ cost were 100 percent accurate, which, when you are coming from far away to work with strangers, can be a cause for anxiety. The process with Gabriel continued for several months while I did my due diligence. I explored using a dentist in Nuevo Laredo, which was closer to my home in Austin, Texas, but in the end, my experience with the ease and safety of Los Algodones won out. I also explored the idea of using a local oral surgeon, but found them far too expensive, and nowhere near as open and patient in their customer service.

Everything about my experience with this dental clinic was top-notch. I began my procedure with Dr. Kevin, who was patient and made sure that I understood everything completely. He then introduced me to Michael, who would perform the surgery. Michael also took his time and made sure that all issues that might cause me concern were covered. The day of the surgery came and went, and it was as comfortable as one could expect when having six implants placed and temporary teeth installed. Follow-up visits the next day went smoothly, and Leo even serenaded me during one of my last examinations. It was a delightful experience listening to a soft, pleasant voice while Dr. Michael finished his examinations.

There is more that I could say, and I did not mention everyone who made my stay as successful as I could have hoped for. If you need dental implants, I highly recommend this dental team and all their wonderful people.

I believe that using this facility for my “All on X” dental restoration was one of the best decisions that I have made. I did quite a bit of research before deciding to have them perform my dental restoration. I met with two local dentists before electing to travel for the dental work. I also spent countless hours researching the available providers and dental options on the internet. My wife and I have both struggled with years of partial restorations and we were both getting tired of replacing crowns, failing root canals and prosthetics that depended on the health of adjacent teeth. All of the staff at this facility were wonderful to deal with, which I could not say about the local clinics that we consulted. Since my wife and I were both having the procedure done, I was able to discuss our cases with 4 of the dentists at the clinic and I would not hesitate to have ANY of them perform ANY necessary procedure in my mouth. Additionally, we found Los Algodones to be a very charming village and we looked forward to crossing the border to do a little shopping and eating during our visits. We are both very grateful that we selected this team for our care.

I have had issues with my teeth since I was a teenager. It honestly became too costly to try and keep up as I got older. That resulted in poor teeth that eventually were pulled, one by one. As I got older, I had more difficulty eating as many of my teeth were gone. I started reviewing All On 4 implants in the states and was dumbfounded by the cost. My wife suggested looking in Mexico. I stumbled across this SOTA Dental clinic. After reading all positive reviews, I made the appointment. Dr. Trejo, Antonio, and the staff were very welcoming and fun to be around! I have had dental anxiety and never once experienced anxiety in their office. After 3 appointments, I now have a full set of teeth and can eat whatever I want! I can also smile now without being embarrassed or ashamed! It truly has been a life changing experience. Honestly, if you are considering Mexico for your dental needs, you need to look at the wonderful staff and doctors at SOTA! You won’t be disappointed!

My son had invisialign completed in US and when he lost his night retainer they wanted an extra $500 for one!! I was at this clinic for an unrelated issue and saw they did invisalign, I asked about the retainer and their amazing staff said it was so not the drama and it would cost less than $100 for the same product! Love them and I’ll be coming to them for all my dental needs from now on

Best dental experience ever! I first went to this clinic in October 2024. Was looking to get an all on 4 but they convinced me most of my teeth could be saved. Best decision I’ve made concerning my teeth thanks to them. I was in surgery for 4 days and got every tooth taken care of from route canals to implants they did it all. Left dand had minor complications but all was solved and fixed 4 months later when I returned after healing. Now I have the best teeth in my family lol. Special thanks to Dr Itzel and Gabriel, and the rest of the crew. I wish I wrote everyone’s name down. I’ll be returning February 2027 Thanks for everything!

Yeah, they are a bit more expensive that other dentists in TJ but I could have not asked for better care.

I do highly recommend their services. You will not be disappointed. I did 2 bridges, an implant and the best deep cleaning I ever had, under the gums! I am set for a while.

I really appreciate the work that this team completed for me. I had both arches done all-on-4 on the bottom and all-on-6 on the top. My first visit was during the first week of July 2024, and my most recent visit was during the last week of January 2025.

For my last visit, most of the work was done by Dr. Hernandez. I was very pleased with the results and process as well. He was careful about explaining each step and I never felt rushed. He took his time and it was clear that he was very concerned about the quality of the work. He was able to address my input regarding my desire for the back to be a bit more «flat.» When I expressed an interest in the «engineering» aspects, he took a minute or two to show me the routing machine used to shape the teeth. Very interesting and nice to be treated that way. I’ll say it this way….I was treated significantly better by Doctor Hernandez than at my local clinic here in central Minnesota.

Dr. Acosta was able to extract my last molar, and that went very well too. No real pain during or after. And I was treated with the same care as above.

I will say that I am still getting used to the new teeth…it has only been a little over two weeks. Although my implants and arches will never be like my original teeth, I am very pleased with how well they function and certainly the appearance is first rate. No problems with eating anything. For someone in my station in life this work was a significant expense, but I am very glad I had the work done and very glad that I made the choice to go with this particular clinic. There were other less expensive options in Los Algodones, but again, I am very glad that I chose them.

I’m American and this was definitely the best dental experience I’ve ever had. I had a full mouth reconstruction, with 21 crowns and 7 implants. My girlfriend also had a cleaning and whitening, looks brilliant. The staff, the price and the quality of work far exceeded my expectations. I so wish they were closer so I could use them for the small stuff too. Dr. Kevin is an artist and Gabriel handles the business side of things like a professional. If you are trying to decide how to fix your dental issues, you have now found your answer. Don’t walk, run to Dr. Kevin’s team to improve your quality of life without breaking the bank!

The best dentists I have ever seen. I have seen the worst in the military, and it’s not much better where I live. My previous dentist in America caused me a lot of pain, and I bled a lot for a simple cleaning. Here has been pain-free and no blood. I didn’t know that was possible until I came here. I just finished my second cleaning here, and they were perfect again. I will probably never see an American dentist again.

They are so informative and work with you no matter what. I had a terrible migraine one day during an appointment and they ordered me a smoothie and let me rest on the couch. I have had trouble with my teeth for many years and finally made the decision to investigate doing All on 4 to finally be done with my issues.

After having seen quotes for $40K minimum in the US, I contacted SOTA Dental for a consultation and a quote. I was very pleasantly surprised that they would be able to do All on 6 for FAR less that anywhere in the US would do All on 4!

My wife and I traveled to Tijuana and had the extraction and denture portion done, and had an absolutely fantastic experience here – in fact, the best experience I have ever had at any dental office in my life. From arranging shuttles to and from the hotel, to even arranging a ride to the airport in San Diego, they helped us through what could have been a very stressful situation.

Their facilities are VERY clean and easily the equal of any office in the US. Many friends and family were anxious about me getting this done out of the country, but the experience was FAR better than what I would have expected locally.

We made the decision to seek restorative dental care in Los Algodones after the recommendations of a few friends. The hard part is picking the right dentist amongst 300+ dentists in the area. After doing some research, Dr. Diego’s Team seemed like the best option as their dentists teach other dentists around the world and they are using the latest technology (they also come up under SOTA Dental as that is the international component they work with) and they provided excellent customer service.

From the planning phase which took several months, we worked closely with Gabriel who was absolutely amazing. He provided detailed explanations, provided information on traveling here, and was transparent in both cost and various procedures. He made me feel very comfortable with making the journey from California and knowing what to expect. Once here, the staff has been excellent. They provided a very detailed consultation plan that explained all the various stages of care and restoration. They also provided many different scenarios that could occur so we would not be surprised and could plan accordingly. They used amazing technology from the fastest CT scan machine I’ve ever seen to creating 3D scans of the teeth to fully see any potential issues or problems. They really accommodate and plan for a rapid schedule as most patients are visitors and are here for a limited time. They truly go above and beyond to assist you in your stay including travel to and from the office, and helping you get back across the border. Additionally, no doctor in the states EVER provided such comprehensive care and assessment. We learned things that no doctor ever told us and we are extremely grateful to have taken care of this now before things got worse.

My wife was not blessed with good genetics when it comes to her teeth. From the time she was young, she had countless fillings, root canals, and crowns. Every dentist she saw here in the states did what they could for her, but in the end what she really needed was to have complete dental implants.

We spoke with several dentists in Albuquerque, and did not feel confident in the proposed approaches, nor the quoted prices we received from our local providers.

After extensive research, and speaking to dental clinics in both Cancun and Los Algodones, we picked the Marquez’s clinic. As a clinical pharmacist that works in an acute care hospital, I have solid background in the medical sciences and never hesitate to ask questions regarding medical care. Dr. Diego and Dr. Nestor took the time to answer all my questions, and were exceptionally knowledgeable and professional.

It’s been almost a year since my wife had her dental surgery to prepare for the permanent implants. We felt so blessed to have received the care we did. I expected a much longer recovery time for my wife, but they did such an amazing job that she recovered quickly, and with very little pain at all. The clinic was so clean and comfortable, and the staff, from the Doctors to the assistants, were wonderful!

We ended up making three visits to the clinic to complete the extensive amount of work that my wife needed, and will soon go back for her one year checkup rather than visit a local dentist. That is how much we love and trust this team.

If you are looking for a clinic to help you, and have some reservations about having dental work of this level performed outside of the United States, I can tell you that I started out with the same concerns, but would happily trust mine and my family’s lives to these good folks!

I am very pleased with the service and care we received from the whole team at SOTA Dental! From the start Antonio was very communicative regarding the entire procedure for all-on-X implants for my mom. We chose to drive down from LA and this team were able to provide us with a ride from the hotel to office everyday. The entire process was smooth sailing and very professional on their end. Everyone who played a part in the procedure was wonderful. My mom is so happy with her new teeth and I am very glad I chose this office to do the procedure for her. Thank you Dr. Trejo and the entire staff!

Okay, I’m not typically a person who leaves reviews, but this is going to be a long, gushy one so bear with me. This team dearly deserves it. From the beginning, even just through initial communication with Alvaro, Caroline and Gabriel, everything was stellar. Admittedly, I was nervous traveling to Mexico and more so of walking over the border by myself. At no time, however, did I feel unsafe. There were many people with wares to sell but a simple “No, gracias” was well respected.

From the moment I stepped into their office the next day there was not one person that didn’t ooze kindness, efficiency and empathy. I was very ashamed of my teeth and that feeling was quickly assuaged by their assurance, the comprehensive exam, CT scan and ultimately several choices in treatment for me. A “we can help” attitude all the way around. I initially met with Dr. Nestor and then Dr. Diego came in too. I didn’t know beforehand that they were brothers but that information too, eased my mind – a family business. After we decided what action we would take, the lovely Itza performed a cleaning of my bottom teeth (the top would be an “all on” procedure) and some prep work for the next day, surgery day. I left armed with knowledge of what would take place the next day, and filled prescriptions with instructions ready for after surgery.

On surgery day I met with the anesthesiologist and she too, was very comforting and knowledgeable. Everything that would occur that day was explained again and we were off to the races. It’s called conscious sedation so you’re technically out but can respond to requests (open wider, etc). Unfortunately, you can also wake yourself up with a giant snore, which I did. So embarrassing. After I woke up after anesthesia and they were going to fix the temporary prosthetic, it was discovered that one of my back molars had started compensating for one missing above and it was messing up my bite. At the last minute, that tooth had to go too. Dr. Santiago numbed me locally and took it and it didn’t hurt at all. Then they affixed the temporary prosthetic (which I really couldn’t stop staring at) and I was left to rest a bit and sent home with gauze for the most recently pulled tooth, directions for care and several protein shakes to drink. Before that however, I complained of a headache after surgery (I’m very prone to them) and the sweetest tech who’s name I can’t recall – SO sorry – I was still a little loopy – sat and massaged my temples and head for almost a half an hour to try to help. I can’t even express how much that meant to me in a number of ways. After getting back to my hotel I had some trouble with that last tooth continuing to bleed which turned out to be mostly my fault. I ran out of gauze and was trying to stop it with Kleenex and some got stuck in there so it couldn’t clot and continued to bleed. I reached out to the clinic and don’t you know Dr. Santiago was at my door armed with supplies at 9:30 pm and didn’t leave until it stopped. Never ever in a gazillion years would I have received that level of care in the states.

The next day was for adjustments of the prosthetic and to make sure my bite was correct. Dr. Santiago did not stop until it was absolutely perfect. The pride they all took in their work was admirable.

I write this one week after my surgery and I am still just thrilled. All my friends are astounded that these are temporary. I will heal and go back for the permanent prosthetic after 3 months. The pic I’ll attach I took right after crossing back over the border to the states. I’ll update this review after everything is finished.

As an aside, the first day I was there I was waiting in the lobby with a couple other people. One was a man whose wife was having her uppers and lowers done. They were from Mexico and he knows a director at the Dental University there and asked her for a referral. In all of Mexico (and in Los Algodones alone there are over 300 dentists offices and 1,000 dentists) she gave him two. One was in Tijuana and the other was this facility. More confirmation of my decision.

I started dental work at this clinic a few months ago. This group of people have become family. I am a unique individual when it comes to things not working (medications and anathesia) and Dr Nestor and Dr Diego worked with me until we figured it out. My uppers were finished but I had an implant that didn’t take and had to be removed. Dr Nestor really went ouy of his way to take care of this for me. I had to stay overnight in the hospital and my patient care coordinator Gabriel stayed with me when he didn’t have to do that. Everyone at the clinic has been very nice and always a smile to see you. I am now healing from surgery number 2. I didn’t realize we were gonna have to stay and the next day I was so worried about my animals. I went to see about them and feed them. They all have asked me about my kitties. Who remebers that kind if thing. Family does. That is what they are to me now. A family. I wouldn’t let anyone else do work on my mouth. SOTA Dental is tops in my book. I’ve suggested my mom go see them. They treated me like I was the only patient they had, but many waiting to see them. I am very fortunate to have found this group. Thank you for all that you have done and will continue to do.

I was very nervous traveling alone to another country and not being sure what to expect from the clinic when I arrived. The prices for procedures were so affordable, and I felt like it was too good to be true. Well, it is true, and safe and good, and all my fears were in my own imagination. The entire staff at the clinic was so professional, so kind and understanding, and so skilled at their work. My medical experiences at this clinic were better than I have ever had in the US. I am returning for my third year checkups now, and I always recommend this clinic to anyone I ever speak to who needs dental work. They are above and beyond US facilities.They work with every patient’s individual needs, and their rates are more fair than any in the US. Thank goodness I found this place because I couldn’t afford to treat my injuries in the USA, and I got better treatment for less cost than I would have gotten here. This place deserves to be recognized for their excellence.

I have had a wonderful experience at Doctor Michael’s facility. I came to them after around two years of researching many different dentist in several countries. The entire experience was outstanding. The dentist far exceeded my expectations of their knowledge and expertise. Dr. Michael is very detail oriented and works on every small detail to ensure the final outcome is better than you could ever expect. I came in hoping I would be a candidate for the all on x for both arches. I was pleased that I was a candidate for the all on x. I ended up with 6 post on the lower and 5 on the upper. These teeth have a very firm foundation. The final set of teeth look so amazing due to the great work of Dr. Michael and the entire team at the clinic. Every visit, I received exceptional care from the doctors, dental assistants and the reception staff. The reception staff would continuously ensure that you were comfortable and had everything you needed while waiting between procedures and exams.Thank you all.

SOTA Dental walked me through the entire process as they connected me to an amazing clinic in their network and made it all very, very easy. Everyone speaks fluent English and there were no surprises. They are professional. I was thrilled with the clinic and the people that did my work, who are highly educated and very skilled cosmetic dentistry artists in a office nicer and more up to date than many I have been in here in the US. I get compliments on my beautiful teeth all the time. I am not the most trusting person, so if I say you can trust SOTA to guide you well, I mean it.
