When traveling to Mexico for dental implant surgery, you do not need much, but a few items can make your trip smoother and more comfortable. First, bring yourself, your passport, and any dental records you already have. If you have recent x rays, CT scans, or notes from your local dentist, bring them along or email them to us in advance. They help our doctors review your case before you arrive, although we will still take new imaging at the clinic to create an accurate treatment plan.
Pack comfortable clothing that is easy to move around in, especially for the day of surgery. Soft foods for the first couple of days can be helpful, but you can also buy everything locally once you arrive. If you take daily medications, bring them in their original bottles, along with a written list of your prescriptions. It is also smart to bring your phone charger, travel insurance information if you have it, and a small folder to keep your travel documents organized.
Most importantly, bring a relaxed mindset. Our team will handle your transportation once you arrive, guide you through every appointment, and make sure you know exactly what to expect. You do not need to prepare anything complicated. Just bring what you normally take on a short trip plus your dental records if available, and we will take care of the rest.
