Full mouth implants in Mexico at SOTA Dental generally take one major trip for surgery and same day teeth, followed by a second trip several months later for the permanent prosthesis. On your first visit, our surgeons place the implants and deliver your same day teeth so you leave with a full smile immediately. This first phase typically requires five to seven days in Mexico, which gives our lab time to design and adjust your temporary prosthesis for comfort and bite stability.
After surgery, the implants need time to integrate with the bone. This healing stage usually takes three to six months depending on the quality of the jawbone and the specific case. Once integration is confirmed, you return for your second trip. During this visit, our in-house lab designs and fabricates your permanent zirconia, nano ceramic, PMMA, or acrylic prosthesis. This stage usually requires seven to ten days because full mouth rehabilitation demands precision, multiple fittings, and bite adjustments.
If your bone is extremely healthy, and our surgeons confirm excellent stability on day one, some patients can receive their permanent prosthesis on the same trip. This is less common but possible depending on your anatomy. Most patients complete the full process in two trips.
