A sinus lift in Mexico at SOTA Dental is usually completed during the same visit as your dental implant placement. This is the most common approach because it shortens the total treatment time. Most patients need three to five days in Mexico for their consultation, CBCT scan, surgical procedure, and initial healing period. When the bone under the sinus is thin but still workable, our surgeons can lift the sinus membrane, place the graft, and insert the implants in one appointment.
If the bone is too weak or too shallow for implants, the sinus lift must be done as a separate procedure. This first trip is still short, typically only a few days, but you must return home and allow the graft to harden for about three to six months. Once the bone has reached the proper density, you return for a second trip to place the implants.
The total timeline depends on your bone condition, but the surgery itself is straightforward and routinely performed by SOTA Dental’s surgical team. Whether done with your implants or in its own trip, the procedure is handled with precision and clear communication.
