Worried about All on 4 treatment? You’re not alone. Many patients have dental anxiety and we’re here to help. Our caring team knows it’s not just about the procedure itself, but also how you feel about it. We make sure to create a safe space where your concerns are heard and your questions are answered.

This guide will offer useful tips and strategies to help you relax and feel prepared for your All on 4 treatment. Our aim? Make your dental journey worry-free and positive. To find out how we can help you manage your dental fears, feel free to get in touch with us. We’re here for you every step of the way.

Facing Dental Anxiety

You'll look back knowing your fears weren't the biggest issue

Lots of people experience dental anxiety or dental fear. It could be caused by past bad experiences, fear of pain or simply fear of the unknown. The idea of All on 4 treatment, which involves full mouth implants and permanent dentures, can seem more worrying because it seems complex.

The main issue with dental anxiety is that it can stop people from getting the dental care they need. This can lead to worsening teeth and gum conditions and possibly complex procedures in the future.

We believe that acknowledging these fears is key. This way we can give you personalized care and support. Our team is committed to making All on 4 treatment, and all dental procedures, as stress-free as possible.

Easing Dental Fears

The first step to getting over dental fears is having an open chat about them. It’s important for you to feel comfortable talking to us. Don’t hesitate to tell us your concerns, no matter how big or small.

Knowing what makes you nervous helps us tailor our approach to make your treatment as relaxing as possible. Your feelings matter, and we’re here to listen and help. Discussing your fears helps us give you better care, and it also helps you take charge of your oral health.

Cutting Down Stress

Once we’ve talked about your worries, we can come up with ways to help you relax. These can include relaxation exercises and explaining each step of the All on 4 treatment.

Deep breathing and muscle relaxation can help you stay calm. We can also suggest distractions like listening to soothing music or focusing on calming images during the procedure.

Being familiar with the treatment process can also make you feel safer. We make sure to explain every step of your All on 4 treatment in a simple way that you understand.

We can also discuss using sedation during the procedure to help you feel more relaxed. Our end goal is to make your All on 4 treatment as stress-free as possible, to guarantee you the best care.

Instructions for Taking a Smile Photo for a Smile Design

To help us create the best possible digital smile design, please follow these steps to capture your smile correctly. These guidelines will ensure the photo is accurate and can be used to design your smile effectively.

What You’ll Need

  • A smartphone or digital camera with a good-quality camera
  • Good lighting (natural daylight or bright indoor lighting)
  • A plain, neutral background (preferably a light-colored wall)

Step-by-Step Instructions

1. Prepare Your Smile

  • Brush your teeth to ensure they are clean and free from any debris.
  • Relax your face, and smile naturally, showing your teeth.

2. Position Yourself

  • Stand or sit in front of a plain, neutral background. A light-colored wall works best to avoid distractions.
  • Make sure you are facing directly toward the camera. The camera should be at eye level to avoid any angle distortion.

3. Lighting

  • Use bright, even lighting to avoid shadows. Natural daylight is ideal, so standing near a window during the day is recommended.
  • If using indoor lighting, make sure the light source is in front of you (not behind or above), so your smile is well-lit and no shadows fall on your face.

4. Camera Positioning

  • Hold the camera (or have someone else take the photo) directly in front of your face, about 2-3 feet away.
  • Keep the camera at eye level, parallel to the ground.
  • Make sure the entire mouth area is in focus, with no part of the smile cropped out.

5. Check the Photo

  • Make sure the image is sharp and in focus. Blurry photos or those with poor lighting may not be usable.
  • Ensure your entire smile is visible, with no parts of the lips or teeth cut off.

6. Submit the Photos

Once the photos are taken, press submit. You will be notified via email when your smile simulator images are uploaded. Please wait 24-48 business hours.
