Dr. Gilberto Galvez is one of the founding members of SOTA Dental and has been part of our team since the very beginning, helping shape the approach to dentistry that we still follow today. He is our lead endodontist in Cancun and an expert in microscopic dentistry, having adopted and advanced the use of dental microscopes long before they became widely used in modern dentistry. His ability to work under extreme magnification allows him to navigate complex root anatomy with exceptional precision, including difficult cases requiring treatment deep within the root canal system.
Dr. Galvez is internationally respected for his endodontic techniques and is invited to teach and share his methods with other dental professionals around the world. He has also developed a significant online following among dentists interested in learning from his work. Outside the clinic, Dr. Galvez is a devoted family man and an avid athlete who enjoys an active outdoor lifestyle. He and his family are particularly passionate about tennis, and he is also an accomplished padel player.
